1ST Q: Report cards were distributed today (Friday). In addition, your student is bringing home a
letter from the superintendent about CUSD's budget. Ask your students for both!
ANTI-BULLYING MONTH: November is anti-bullying month here at CMS. Students should have
brought home a letter explaining the campaign for parents.
BLUE DONATION REQUEST FORMS: Ask your student about the Roman legions assembly. We had a lot
of fun and learned what it took to be part of the world's greatest fighting force. In November we plan
a Medieval Knight assembly. Your contributions pay for this year's curriculum-based assemblies. So
please return your BLUE REQUEST FORM. I have heard from 66% of you, and I thank you for your
generosity!!!
PINNACLE CODE REMINDERS:
a Z in Pinnacle means an assignment is missing. Pinnacle counts a Z as a zero until the assignment is
turned in and a grade entered.
A blank means that either an assignment is in the process of being made up (usually for an absence)
or I haven't yet entered the grade. Pinnacle does not count a blank toward the overall grade.
A 0 means the student earned a 0 grade for that assignment.
An X means the student was excused from that assignment. The points are not part of the final
grade.
