What is the best way to contact Mr. Haaland?

Email is best because it is on all day and I respond to email when I have the opportunity. Calls can be

How are tests and quizzes weighted?

Because tests and quizzes are really the backbone of any grading system, quizzes and tests are given
more weight. Most quizzes will be anywhere from 25 to 50 points. Chapter and unit tests are equal to
+/- 100 points.

End of grading period conferences.

Please monitor your child's work on a weekly basis by looking at returned assiggnments and monitoring
the PIV system. By doing so, you have a good overview of how your child is performing academically in
class and it prevents surprises at the end of the quarter necessitating your need for a last minute
conference at the end of the grading period.
