assignment. Watched first 30 minutes of "Flowers for Algernon."

out Chrome books for the first time. Students did an interest survey on entitled "Find Your Strengths." After completing the survey, 
students journaled about their strengths and we shared as a class. 
Read "Flowers for Algernon" in literature book through Progress Report six on 
page 37. Students journaled a prediction as to what might happen next in the

second part of the notes.

poem. We will do these Friday.

Language Arts notebook.
Social Studies: Reviewed answers to Cornell notes 1-1, #22-37. Brainpop video 
and quiz on "Conquistadors." Explorers video and quiz. 
LA: Bring rough draft of Diamante poem (previously returned) and any items 
you would like to use to decorate it. Read 30 minutes. We will be using 
colored pencils tomorrow; they are also available in class.
SS: Guided reading 1-1. Review Cornell notes for tomorrow's quiz on 1-1.
