The class will be starting a core lit book this week, Night of the Twisters.
The spelling and vocabulary are slightly different, but there will still be
quizzes.
Gold Rush Day is this Friday.
Welcome parents. This site, teacher's web, should be updated every week. I
will try to have it ready by Monday, but sometimes I cannot get to it and
will finish up after school on Monday. If you are ever unsure of what is for
homework, you just need to check here. There will be new announcements from
week to week, along with spelling lists, homework, and calendar dates.
The blue folders will go home every Friday with a newsletter and any
quizzes, tests, work from the week. The newsletter needs to be
signed and returned on Monday. The blue folder also needs to be returned
on Monday.
The weekly communication logs are a new thing in our blue folders. Please be
sure to sign on to the school website and access your child's grades. You
need to write the grades on the log and the number of missing assignments.
This enables the parents to be aware of what exactly is missing.
