Homework

Speech and language students receive a monthly calendar in order to practice their target goals;  articulation, language, fluency, social language, or voice.  Calendars are to be signed and returned at the end of the month, or the first week of the following month.   Each activity on the calendar only requires a brief, verbal response from your child.

In addition to the monthly calendar, students typically receive a weekly assignment that can be practiced at home for additional homework credit.  Please review the practice words or language activity again at home, sign, and return for credit.

Students earn homework stickers towards prizes and treats.  Practice at home is very important for consistent progress in speech and language.  Speech homework shouldn't take up a lot of time, and is never meant to put additional stress on a family.  Please speak to Mrs. Napoli for alternative speech homework ideas that can fit into your family's schedule.
