RENAISSANCE DAY THIS FRIDAY, APRIL 18th

Principal Photo
Hello parents, guardians, family and friends,

We are just a week from progress reports. Teachers will be submitting grades next Wednesday, April 23rd and you should expect to receive your child’s progress report by Monday, April 28th. It is hard to believe that we are already half way through April and the end of the year is coming fast.

We have begun the Common Core State Standards Testing and things are going well. As has been said before, this year is a test of the test. Please ask your child how it went for them. All classes will be taking the test in our computer lab over the next few weeks.

As we move forward, it is extremely important that your child do his/her absolute best each and every day of school. This is the time of the year that attendance can drop off and we need your help in ensuring that your child is at school each and every day. If possible, please plan events and appointments after school. That is very helpful.

Even though we are nearing the end of the school year there is a lot that needs to be completed. Please continue to monitor your child’s progress on the parent portal. If you have any questions at all regarding anything here at school please contact me at (925) 625-6840 or ghetrick@ouesd.k12.ca.us Thanks for all that you do.

**For messages regarding attendance, traffic, students that walk to and from school, school priorities, and our mission and vision statements, link to Principal’s Message on the left. I am honored to be a part of this great school and I encourage you to get involved.

Have a great day and be proud to be a panther.

“There is Pride…. And then there’s Panther Pride”
Mr. Greg Hetrick
