1st Progress Report
The first grading period ended on Friday, September 26. This grade is a
progress report only for Algebra. It is part of the final semester grade.
Students who earned a D or an F on the last test have the weeks of September
29-October 3 and October 6-10 to retake the test. Students must come to a
tutoring session for extra help before coming back to retake the test.
Tutoring schedule is Tuesday-Thursday 3-4pm in these locations:
Tuesday: Mr. Richmond A-6
Wednesday: Mrs. Mastrup C-6
Thursday: Mr. Richmond A-6
Tutoring is drop-in, and students may come any day without signing up
first. Students may come to get help on a test and retake it, to get help
with a concept, or help with homework.
There are also tutoring sessions offered at the high schools in the evenings
on Monday-Thursday 6:30-8:30 pm. These are open to anyone and created with
advanced students in mind in particular, such as 7th graders taking
Algebra. Mondays and WEdnesdays are in the Pioneer HS library, Tuesdays and
Thursdays in the WHS library.
**Extra Credit for needed supplies**
We need new whiteboard markers so that students can use personal whiteboards
to practice problems in class. 1 point extra credit for each marker, up to
5 points. Also, 2 points extra credit for each box of tissues, up to 4
points.
