“GATE”way to learning- GATE program

2011-2012 GATEway to Learning after school program and field trip.

 

In order to participate in the field trip, your child must complete two of the after school GATEway to Learning Sessions with 100% attendance and positive participation. The classes run from 2:30-3:30. See schedule below:

 

Session 4/Feb 14-Mar 8

Tuesdays (Mr. Standard) Search for Other Worlds Examine the Evidence for Other Worlds. An Interesting Look at Possibilities.

Thursdays (Mrs. Bradshaw) Fly Me to the Moon Build and Launch a Model CEV (Crew Exploration Vehicle) to Carry Astronauts Safely to the Moon.

 

 

Math and Algebra Academies- Fall and Spring sessions. Students are recommended by their math teacher and must commit to regular attendance.                                                                                                                                                        

Spring Session-January 24, 2012—April 12, 2012

 

Academic All Stars-This is a district wide program providing assistance in Reading and Language Arts for our students with learning difficulties, English Language Learners and students who need additional assistance in scoring proficient on the California Standards Test. Each session is 11 weeks and meets every Tuesday and Thursdays.
