Eleanor Roosevelt High School
Math (SRiS, Statistics, and AP Statistics)
My name is Patrick Marnin and I am a math teacher. This will be my 6th year
at Roosevelt, but my 15th year in the classroom. I taught 8 years at Diamond
Ranch high school in Pomona and am proud of what we were able to accomplish
there as a school (800+ API), and I hope to be as successful here. Over the
years, I have taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Statistics, AP
Statistics, and Precalculus. I have also coached boys and girls volleyball,
wrestling, and baseball throughout my teaching career. I am married (most of
you know Mrs. Marnin) and have two wonderful children, Katie (13) and Tyler
(11), who attend River Heights and Eastvale elementary, respectively. I am
looking forward to a great year of teaching and getting to know even more
students, parents, and staff.
My mission is for the students to be a successful as possible in my
clasroom. I will give them every opportunity to be succesful, but
ultimately, their success level will be up to them.
