Week of 12/14-12/18
Monday- Compete a Grade Check.
Finish reading notes and section assessments for Ch. 6 sec. 1 and 2.
Tuesday- Finish page 1 of "Working with Chemical Equations"
Wednesday- Finish page 2 of "Working with Chemical Equations" , called balancing chemical equations.
This may take anywhere from 30-60 min. Please stop after an hour
Thursday- Finish the Cartoon Reactions that we started in class, in which we create an illustration
(computer images and pictures are OK) to represent each of the 4 types of chemical reaction types
(synthesis, decomposition, single replacement, and double replacement). Please complete them in that
order and make it neat and colorful. Obey the law of conservation of matter.
20 pts, about 30-45 min
Friday- No homework. Have a wonderful break. Consider working on your PEAP or moving ahead in
Ch. 6 and 7.
