I have been a teacher/counselor at Eich School for 34 years. I began
teaching remedial math and language arts. Then I spent 22 years in D-6
teaching a foods class. Many of your parents may have been in my foods
class. Then I taught language arts for five years. I have also been the
counselor at Eich for the past 15 years. The past two years I have been the
full time counselor at Eich. Then with budget cuts we no longer offer any
counseling services to our students and I am back in the classroom teaching
math, language arts, social studies, and a new elective that I designed based
on my traveling experience called Global Awareness.
I want to make school a positive experience for my students. I want to
create a desire for learning and a love for the subject matter. I believe
all students can learn and I work well with students who may have
difficulty. My counseling experience gives me the compassion and
understanding to reach all my students.
