Students and Parents: I will out on a medial leave from Monday, Nov. 30
to Monday Febuary 1. Mr. Jim Plaskett will manage and teach my math
classes. Mr. Plaskett is well qualified to teach math. I will still be
involved with testing and grading and planning the curriculum. If you have
any questions, you can still email me.
Thursday Morning Math has been cancelled until I return after the first of
Febuary.
Parents: Many students are still not coming prepared with supplies to
class.
This is a pencil and graph paper class.
BFST 4 will be given on Thursday. Be sure to study with the practice sheet.
Holt: Students are continuing work on Chapter 4 which is on
Exponents and Roots. A retake for Chapter 3 and 4 is now available.
CPM: Students are beginning Chapter 5 this week.

The daily assignments are listed for Holt Pre-Algebra and Advanced Pre-
Algebra (CPM)
Students will have homework every evening.
Parents: Please check out my Retake Policy on my site.
Students must follow the required steps in order to retake tests and do BFST
corrections. Since there is no extra credit in this class, this is the only
way students may improve their grade.
HOMEWORK GUIDELINES:
Check assignment criteria which was given out the first week.
Be sure to SHOW ALL WORK!!!
Each problem number must be highlighted and the answer must be highlighted
too. Remember to use a RULER for all lines, tables and graphs. No ink may
be used and all assignments must be completed in their graph paper tablets.
