Dear Parents and Students, Welcome to this website! I hope it is a helpful tool and resource for you. I have been teaching for twelve years in the language arts and electives departments. In my career, I have taught 7th and 8th grade language arts, newspaper, GATE, and Careers. I love reading and writing, and I love being at Eich! Mission
Our class curriculum will focus on accomplishing state standards. For a complete list of California State Standards for Language Arts (7th and 8th grade) look on the website for the CA Dept. of Education at: http://www.cde.ca.gov/be/st/ss/index.asp We will be utilizing state-adopted textbooks published by Holt, Rhinehart, and Winston. Our class will focus on reading, writing, speaking and listening.
