Homework #30 was sent home Friday, May 17. Spelling is mb words, which have
a silent b.
Your list for spelling city is found at www.Spellingcity.com List #30.
In Go Math, we will finish up with Chapter 9 on Measurement and Time. The
math practice pages in the homework are directly related to our Math
asssessments in class. Will begin Chapter 10 this week.
Each week be sure to complete 3 spelling activities on the page
labled "Spelling", and write and draw about 1 book you read this week on the
page labled "Writing". My suggestions for spelling activities include:
writing the words 3 times each, putting the words in ABC order (yes, we have
practiced that), illustrating 5 of the words, typing the words in a different
font, and/or any printed activity from Spellingcity.com

Also remember for the Nightly Reading portion of your homework and for the
Writing portion you can use the decodable books that come home each Friday.

Choose one of the books you read during the week. Write about your favorite
part and illustrate it on a separate sheet of paper.
Spelling Activities -
Choose 3 to be completed on a separate page, and attach that page to the
packet. Cirlce the 3 you choose.
*Write each spelling word 3 times.
*Pick 5 spelling words and use each in a sentence.
*Write the words in alphabetical order
*List the words and the number of syllables each word has.
*Illustrate 5 of the words
*Find and write the definitions for 5 of the words.
*Sort the words by spelling pattern.
*Write a story using 5 of the words.
*Type your spelling words on the computer using different fonts.
*Complete a practice test. Rewrite the incorrect words.
*Complete activities on spellingcity.com. Print and attach.
