This is my 16th year at Donner. I love teaching at Donner because everyone is
so helpful - my colleagues, my students, and the families! My favorite thing
is listening to my students read. My close second favorite is going for a
good brisk walk in nature or watching a good movie. I've also recently become
a runner. I train with the Running For Rhett program, and I am usually
getting ready for a 5k somewhere! I also just got a bike, which I just love!
I travel to the midwest regularly to see family and to San Francisco (if
someone else drives! GO GIANTS! My favorite quote is "Never Give Up! I
Believe In You All. A Person's a Person, No Matter How Small." (--Dr. Suess
and Horton.)
We, the first graders and Miss Brown, know that Knowledge Is Power! We hope
to make the world a better place every day by taking care of each other and
the earth as we read, write, compute, conserve, ponder, draw, color, sing,
listen, eat, encourage, create, help, talk, play, exercise and grow.
