Hello, Welcome Week 32!  We continue to do Open House projects this week.  I am so excited for Open House.  It is like my Christmas!  I would like to beg and plead with you to send your child to school every day if possible until May 10th, as we will be doing projects daily and it is hard to do make-ups.  Of course, I understand if they are truly not well.  Thank you for your support, and save the date of May 10th for Open House!  Our annual Spring Fling is scheduled for May 4th.  Our class theme is "Target".  I am hoping that every family will be able to donate a Target gift card to this event.  You can choose increments from $5.00 to ?... I will be making a Target Bullseye and numbering the sections by gift card amounts.  I will then stick the gift cards into the styrofoam Target in the proper section.  We will then raffle off our class "Target".  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and the PTO and ER would really appreciate your support!  18 families have donated thus far! 2nd grade: CST TESTING:  We are on our final week.  Please make sure that your child is present and on time on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week.  It is very important that they have a good night sleep and a healthy breakfast on test days.  I appreciate your support! Upcoming tests: 1st: spelling...Friday, April 27th        Rocket Math...Friday, April 27th         2nd: Friday, April 27th....regular test day  Upcoming field trips: 1st...May 16th...Field Day 2nd..May 1st....Raley Field Tour         May 14th....Field Day    Our computer times are Thursday and Friday from 1:45 to 2:15.  You can pick your child up from the computer lab on these days.    Thank you, Mrs. Summers
