Congratulations to Garrett and Michael, our class Spelling Bee winners.
Thank you Mrs. Furbush and Mrs. Campbell for a wild and wonderful
Thanksgiving party. You made the time fun and educational for the students.
Bless you both.
Thursday, Dec. 10th, the students are encouraged to show their "Charger
Pride": by wearing Charger colors (navy blue or powder blue) or any Charger
gear. Students not participating must wear their school uniform.
For our field trip on Dec. 8th, Tuesday, the students need to bring a snack,
lunch, and wear their uniform. It would be a good idea to send them with a
jacket/sweater/sweatshirt, too.
Our school collects the following items to help raise funds for various
projects: used inkjets and laser cartridges, old cell phones, Major Market
receipts, Boxtops and Fresh and Easy receipts.
As of November 18th, please add the table of SEVEN'S to your multiplication
practice. Be practicing the 0-7 multiplication tables. Thank you parents
for helping your children memorize these.
The reading goal is 3,500 pages for third grade. For the week ending Dec.
11th, the students should have read approximately 1,500 pages to be on track
to meet the goal by OPEN HOUSE NIGHT. ALL READING LOGS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY
MAY 27TH. Thank you in advance for assisting your child in reaching this goal.
