About The Teacher

Family:

I have been happily married for five years to my beautiful wife, Jane. Our
son, Rafe Skyler Stafford, will be two in October. Our beautiful little
girl, Isabella Renee Stafford wss born May 26, 2009. I was able to spend the
summer being "Mr. Mom" to these two precious gifts, but I'm certainly ready
to be back to school!

Education:

I first received a B.A in Interdisciplinary Studies and then a Masters of
Education from National University.

Work Experience:

I earned my California State Teaching Credential in 2000 and started
teaching in the public school system. From 2004 through 2007, I was
an Intervention Specialist for the Vista Unified School District. In that
capacity, I worked with small groups of children across grade levels K-5 in
subject areas where struggling students were not at grade level
proficiency.

I felt God calling me away from public education and into Christian
Education, however. Before the beginning of the 2007/2008 school year, I was
offered the position of Head of the PLP Department. I was overjoyed to join
the ECS staff, and thank God continually for the opportunity . I am very
elated and delighted to be serving God, my students, and you, as a member of
the ECS team. I want to invite you to be a part of the team as well. We can
accomplish so much more in your child's life as a unified team, parent and
teacher, than we ever could individually.

I look forward to your help and encouragement in assisting your children in
fulfilling God's highest potential and expectations for them. God Bless you
and the entire PLP Department during this school year.
