How much homework do you assign?

Your child should spend a total of about 40 - 60 minutes each night on
homework and reading. My homework schedule is:
Monday - Math
Tuesday - Spelling and Grammar Word Work
Wednesday - Wonder Story
Thursday - Cursive

This includes reading for twenty minutes every night and writing
a short summary (20 words or less) on the reading log.

All homework is assigned at the beginning of the week, and is due Friday.

Can my child make up missed assignments?

When your child is absent he or she may make up the missing assignments. I
will give your child a list of the work to be done. If your child was absent
one day, I will allow one day to make up the work. If the absence was for two
days, I will allow two days for the work.

I do not allow make ups for late work if your child was in class except in
unusual circumstances.
