Phone Calls to the Teacher at School
I am at school by 7:15 a.m. every morning. If you need to leave a message on my classroom voice mail before the start of school, I will be checking my messages before noon each day and will try to return your call sometime during the course of the day. Fenton's instructional day begins at 7:50 a.m. The students are to line up behind their classroom number out on the playground. The dismissal bell rings at 3:15 p.m. On Wednesday's, there is a shortened dismissal at 2:00 p.m.Back to Top

On the day your child returns back to school please send a note explaining the reason for the absence. If your child was taken to the doctor, a doctor's note is sufficient.Back to Top
If your child wishes, he/she may bring healthy and nutritional treats for the class. Parents should send a note or call in advance so that we can give you an exact number of sudents and set aside a special day and time to enjoy the treats.Back to Top

On occasion it will be necessary for your child to bring money to school for things such as book orders or school sponsored sales. Always send money to school in a sealed envelope or zip-lock baggie with the following information on it: 1. Your child's name 2. The amount of money 3. Please make it a priority that your child attend school every day except in cases of illness or emergency. It is important for your child to have consistent attendance so that they may be successful in their education. It is very difficult to make up work at home especially if they have missed a learning activity that was group oriented and involved interaction with their fellow classmates.Back to Top
