Hello everyone! I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from
Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles. I received my teaching credential
from National University, and later received a Master's degree in Education
from the University of Phoenix in 2001. In 2005 I became a National Board
Certified Teacher.
I am happy to be at Fenton, and look forward to many new and fun educational
adventures ahead. I recently moved and now reside in Moorpark with my
family. The newest addition to our household is a puppy that we
adopted named "Lexi" who is about 4 months old. She needed a good home and
is happily adjusting to her new backyard.
In my spare time I like to travel,read,exercise,and watch movies with my
family.
I believe that all children can become life-long learners. If they develop
a love for learning at an early age, that love will continue to grow as they
do. Our classroom represents a safe environment where children can learn and
explore, given the right tools. Through the use of projects, hands-on
activities, cooperative learning strategies, and technology integration, I
will strive to do my best to see that all children are provided with a fun
and stimulating learning environment where each child can be
successful.
