Welcome to a new school year at Fern Drive. I am pleased to have your child as an important part of
our classroom this year. This is my 17th year at Fern Drive. I feel blessed to work with such a great
group of teachers as well as many wonderful Fern Drive families. I have to say, I truly love
my job!
On a personal note, I have been married to the same wonderful man for 33 years. We currently
reside in San Clemente. I have two grown married children, and one grandson that i just adore. We
have two pets a cat and a dog named Wishbone and Lucy.
Some of my hobbies are: cooking, power walking, hiking, reading, paddle boarding and playing with
my grandson (Ayden).

How do I get to work? I ride the Metrolink train daily. I keep a car up here that I park at the train
station nightly.
My goal is for each child to look forward to coming to school each day. I strive to provide a warm and
nurturing classroom environment in which all children have the opportunity to learn and grow to their
fullest potential. I also hope to encourage each of my students to develop a love of reading and to be a
lifetime learner.
