Now that summer is winding down, we are looking forward to the new school year. We want to welcome Ms. Chavez, our new 7th grade home room teacher and Mrs. Yost our new Room 2 aide! We look forward to all of the fun and adventures the 2017-2018 school year will bring. As we start up school, we want to point out a couple of reminders, and pass along some exciting news:
Girls Volleyball-
For the 2nd time (and the first in many years), Fieldbrook School will be participating in girls volleyball! We are thankful to Neil Barsanti who generously offered to coach our new team. The team will be made up of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls who wish to participate. Volleyball will start shortly after the school year starts; make sure that if you have an interested player, they have the mandatory physical done before the season starts. If you need the physical forms, you can obtain them in the school office.

School lunches-
School lunches will be provided by the Fieldbrook Market and Eatery. Kelli Costa has worked very hard to provide us with local, nutritious, organic lunches; we look forward to the new lunch program. We will the first week menu posted under the lunch tab shortly. The price for a school lunch will be $4.00 per lunch. We participate in the National School Lunch program, please fill out an application to see if you qualify for free or reduced price lunches. Applications are available in the office.

School Supplies-
We do not require supplies from students; some of our teachers have a suggested list that they have put on their own page. If you do want to get supplies, we recommend getting your student supplies that they can use at home or to support them at school. Examples would be Backpack, Binder, Paper, Pencils, Color Pencils etc.

All Students entering T/K, Kindergarten, and 7th grade need to be current on all immunizations or they will not be allowed to attend school. Students who are excluded from school for immunizations will be allowed to attend when they have a record of current immunizations or a medical waiver. Required immunizations are:
Polio – 4 doses
Dtap – 5 doses
MMR – 2 doses
Hepatitis B – 3 doses
Varicella – 2 doses
Tdap (for 7th grade and above)
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office at 839-3201.

Enjoy your last week of summer, we will see you soon!
