How much money does it cost to join Junior ROTC?

There is a one time charge of $20 which purchases the physical training T-
shirt.  In addition, students are provide a sweat suit which they keep.  All 
other uniforms are assigned to each student for the school year at no 
expense to the student.  If students lose assigned uniforms, they are 
responsible for paying for lost uniform items.

Is my child obligated to serve in the military after high school graduation?

Absolutely no obligation to join the military.  The Fohi Junior ROTC is an 
elective class that teaches leadership, discipline, physical fitness and 
community service. The primary objective of JROTC is to support students' 
academic achievement leading to a high school diploma.
