Can I send treats on my child's birthday?

Birthday treats are fine as long as they are easy to pass out and eat.
Cupcakes, donuts, or cookies are great! Please do not send drinks or cakes
that need to be cut and served. Birthday treats will be passed out to the
class as they go out for recess or at lunch time. Sending napkins would be a
good idea.

Will my child be able to correct D and F work to raise the grade?

In 5th grade students need to take responsibility for the grades they earn.
They need to study and prepare for the weekly tests. D and F papers cannot
be corrected.
