1) Reading Journals will not be a part of the weekly H.W. until further notice. I will continue to be spending a considerable amount of time reviewing/working on summarizing and story elements in the classroom and will therefore not be assigning Journals as of now. However, all the other components of the H.W. program will stay the same (Packets, Spelling Sentences, Weekly Sharing, & Flashcard Practice).
2) Please make sure that your child is not on playground after school. All students and parents need to sit either at the lunch tables (shade structure) or move to the front of the school. The playground is reserved for upper grade students. Therefore, primary students are not permitted to play on the equipment after school is dismissed.
3) Please remind your child about important ways to keep healthy and germ-free. This includes, but is not limited to washing hands frequently with soap, covering mouths during sneezing/coughing, and dressing appropriately.
