Currently we are in need of the following items:
- Clorox wipes
- Hand Sanitizer
- Healthy Snacks for Recess
- Glue Sticks
If you would like to donate to our classroom, we would greatly appreciate it!
Playground:
Thank you for helping us keep students off the upper grade playground. The
upper grade teachers have been pleasantly surprised that their students can
now use their playground. Also, injuries reported to the office have
dramatically decreased thanks to our efforts in keeping little ones
off, safe and away from the playground.
Important Dates to Remember:
12-4: Report Cards Go Home
12-15: All Classroom and Library Books are Due
12-18: School Spirit Day: Pajama Day!
12-21: Winter Recess Begins
1-4: School Resumes
Next PTA meeting: January 7th 7:15pm
Report Cards:
Report Cards will go home on Friday, December 4th. If you have any questions
or concerns, please contact me to set up a conference.
Holiday Party:
Our holiday party will be on Friday, December 18th from 12:30 to 1:30. This
will be an Art and Craft Holiday Party and volunteers will be needed to help
with the craft stations. No food or drink will be permitted due to allergies
in the classroom. More information will be provided closer to the party date.
Weather:
It's cold out there! Please remember to bundle your child up and dress in
layers. We play, eat and have P.E. outside even on cold days.
Bell Schedule:
Please remember school starts promptly at 8:00am! Even if your child is a few
minutes late, I have to mark them tardy.
CDC Accepting Students:
Garden Gate CDC: is currently accepting students into their after school
program and their pre-school program. Homework help and educational activities
are planned for students daily.
Coming soon to the CDC: Language classes for Hindi! If you are interested
please go to the Garden Gate office to learn more information.
