Reminders

• Bathroom passes are due by January 13 (for extra credit).
• You must respond to one blog entry each quarter.
• Check your grade for missing assignments.   No missing assignments will be accepted after January 13.

English

• English students will take the Holt Benchmark Assessment on January 13 and 14.
• This assessment is required by the Santa Barbara School District. Students do not need to study for the assessment because it is designed to measure their areas of mastery and their areas of growth in regard to the seventh grade California Standards for Reading and Language Arts

Spanish Grade 8

• The midterm exam will be on January 14. Students should study vocabulary and grammar structures from chapters 1 - 5 of the textbook. We will spend the first two weeks of January reviewing for the exam.
• Students will work on a group research project on a Spanish-speaking country. They will have two days in the library and two days of class time to work on their presentations.   The project is due on January 13

Spanish Grade 7

• There is no specific midterm exam, but students have a test on chapter 4 on January 13.
