can be the same points you write in the homework assignment, or they can be new ideas.
We are finished reading The Outsiders, but students must continue to bring
their books to class every day. We have several culminating activities to
complete. In addition, we will be writing response to literature essays in
January.
Please get the letter about watching The Outsiders movie signed by a parent or
guardian. We will watch the movie in January.
Wednesday is a library day. Please bring your books to renew or turn in. You
must have a reading book in your hand before you leave the class on Wednesday.

TEST RETAKE POLICY: ENGLISH AND SPANISH
Many students have been requesting the opportunity to retake tests and
quizzes. Students who
received a C+ or lower on a test or quiz may retake it if they follow this
procedure:
1) Rewrite each item marked wrong on a separate piece of paper and staple the
rewrites to the test
or
quiz.
2) Study those words or grammar structures using the appropriate section of
the textbook or with
Ms.
McMillan.
3) Make an appointment with Ms. McMillan for the retake.
4) The final score will be the average of the original score and the retake score.
