Thank you all for attending our MS Back to School Night last Thursday evening. It was great to see all of you.

8TH GRADE PARENTS
There is a meeting tonight at 6:45pm for all 8th grade parents to hear more about our trip to Washington DC in the spring of 2012. Please plan to attend to pick up registration materials and learn more details about our trip.
The GS Gift Wrap Fundraiser is under way. Information was sent home today. It is due back by Fri. Please take a moment to look at the information.

HELLO PARENTS!
Just want to let you know what a great time we had at outdoor education.
Our camp was beautiful. We spent our days at beautiful places where we discovered many of God's amazing creations.
Every student was well behaved and the camp staff commented on their excellent behavior and their depth of knowledge many times during the week.
Thank you to all the parents who helped us with transportation.
A special "Thank You" to those who stayed with us all week, Pete Stoneham, Justin Baine and Peter Heinlein. It is a lot to ask of these men but they generously give up a week of their time to be with us. We truly appreciate it.
We all had a wonderful time!

JUST TO REMIND YOU:
Student / Parent Conferences are scheduled for next week, Monday through Wednesday, beginning at 12:15.
Please refer to the email you received from Mrs. West as to times available and the sign-up procedure.
Conferences in Middle School are student led. This may be a new format for you. It is an excellent opportunity for students to take ownership of their classwork and school behavior. It is an excellent avenue for the students to set personal goals, something that will benefit them as they move forward in their education.
We look forward to seeing all of you next week.

I hope you all found the Student Led Conference format to be valuable. The MS teachers are very impressed with the students hard work in preparing for their conference as well as their presentation. This is a very empowering for the students to not only communicate their progress but to take responsibility for that progress.
I am so proud of all the students.
