FIELD TRIP  Chabot Space & Science Center
The field trip was spectacular! Students learned all about the anatomy of the human eye, performed eye experiments, and then dissected a cow's eye! After the workshop we had lunch and explored the exhibits and received a "bonus" lecture on telescopes. We finished the trip with a planetarium show, Two Small Pieces of Glass, that explained what telescopes can reveal about our galaxy and the ones beyond. It was a fascinating experience and I am so thrilled that our GATE kids were able to participate.  Of course none of this would have happened without the support of our wonderful GB parents Lisa, Mandy, and Dan who chaperoned; Eve for coordinating the trip! THANK YOU PARENTS! Enjoy the photos :)
