NewsFlash

.Dear Families,
I can't believe how fast this year is going by! It's already time to hand out the first report card. I will be sending your child's report card home Wednesday, November 18. Please check his/her everyday folder. If you don't receive your child's report card, please contact me as soon as possible.

As you review the report card, please keep the following things in mind...  A "3" is where we want our students to be. This means they are on track and performing at grade level for that particular standard. 3.5's and 4's are very rarely given out. Many Standards do not even allow opportunities for a 3.5 or 4 to be earned. That being said, a "2" or "2.5" doesn't mean your child is failing. This just means he/she is working towards proficiency in that area. I will continue to help your child achieve these standards in class. Any additional support you can give your child at home would be beneficial as well.

Overall, I'm very impressed and proud of all my students. They work very hard every day, and I've already noticed a tremendous amount of progress since the beginning of the year. I can't wait to see the progress they will make over the next several months!
