It my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you as we begin the new school
year. My name is Mrs. Pamela Vamvouris and I am very excited about being
your child's teacher! SRVUSD students and their parents deserve the very
best teachers. I am confident that my professional, academic, and practical
experiences will contribute to the high standards and successful education
of your child that Greenbrook Elementary School maintains.
My educational background includes undergraduate degrees in Behavioral
Science and Liberal Studies with a concentration in Childhood Development
from California State University, Hayward. I continued my studies at the
University of San Francisco where I acquired a Master's degree in Education
and a California teaching credential.
I have dedicated myself to the field of teaching because I believe in the
educational system. I know that a skillful and effective teacher has the
potential to ignite the interest of a child in an authentic and constructive
way. I want my students to achieve high academic and social success through
meaningful and interesting learning experiences that applies to their lives.
I know we can accomplish this through cooperative communication and teamwork.
Professional growth is an integral part of my life and I firmly believe that
continuing education is imperative to the quality of instruction. The rapidly
evolving society of 21st century requires that Educators apply new
understandings, innovative skills, and effective strategies to successfully
inspire, motivate, and challenge students to reach their greatest potential. I
would like you to know that I take great care in teaching your child with best
