10. Social Studies Textbook Online
1.) Type in the name of the book in the "QUICK FIND BY" section
at the top (click on the name of the book for information about
the book and lexile level)
2.) choose a book that is within 50-100 points of your child's
lexile
12.READING COUNTS QUIZZES/LEXILES
This site will take you to our main library page where a list of
Reading Counts quizzes by lexile levels is displayed.
You can also look up books in the Greentree library by choosing
the 'catalog' tab.
13. GREENTREE LIBRARY/"DESTINY"
Fifth graders are tested every March in typing speed and
proficiency. The goal is 25 wpm.
Students may practice at home using the same program we will use
at school for the test by going to this site. Make sure you
practice 3 minute tests.
I also suggest finding some typing programs that review typing
using "home row." Remind students NOT to look at hands/keyboard
when practicing.
