Hello Heritage Intermediate Families,

The 2016-17 school year is off to a fantastic start!
It was wonderful seeing everyone at Parent Conferences this year. As a staff, we take such pride in establishing relationships with our students and their families. I heard from so many of you how important it was to meet sooner this year for conferences, right after the six week mark. I am confident that this change will help our students to gain early success in the school year.

Thank you to all of our HIS families who participated in the Fall Fundraiser. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to raise over $24,000!!! Our Fundraiser Step It Up Reward Event will take place on Tuesday, October 4th. Students will be released from class at specific times to enjoy a carnival-like event and receive their prizes.

Finally, I would like to invite you to our upcoming PARENT TECH NIGHT on Wednesday, October 26th. This will be an opportunity for parents to learn about the new Aeries Parent Portal. You will also learn how to access Study Sync, ConnectEd Math, and Teacher Web. We hope you can join us for this important information evening. Child care will be provided!
