| Harbour View PTA succeeds because of the active involvement of our members.
There is a place and a role for all members, I am proud to say that we are
one of the biggest PTA's in our district! We conduct our business during
our monthly association meetings, but members who are unable to attend these
can still be involved in several ways:
First, a member can submit ideas, questions, or suggestions for our PTA by
leaving a note addressed to Debi Windle, PTA President, at the front desk.
PTA has a file in the office and your feedback will get to us in this way,
and will then be addressed at the next meeting. Most of our best ideas come
from members who suggested an idea and when brought to the membership, was
voted on and acted on!
Secondly, volunteer in the classroom, in the library, or for any of the
activities supported by the PTA throughout the year. Refer to the PTA
committee chair and board list for the best person to contact regarding your
area of interest. This is a huge help and will help you feel more connected
with our PTA throughout the year.
Lastly, be sure to read the newsletters and flyers that come home from PTA.
We try hard to update families on our latest accomplishments, upcoming
events, and future goals. Results of fundraisers and how our PTA is using
the money raised is provided in these flyers and will keep you updated on
just how much our PTA accomplishes each year.
