Oh wow, I think I can write a book but I will keep it simple. I have been
teaching for 9 years. This is my 6th year at Hart-Ransom prior to teaching
4th grade at Sacred Heart in Patterson. I enjoy teaching junior high
students and filling them with the knowledge needed to be a success in high
school. A solid foundation in reading, writing, and history is a necessity
for the future.
I am a Hart-Ransom graduate! CLASS of 92! I had Mr. Brown, Mrs. Medeiros,
and Mrs. Yonan-Boxell as my teachers. I believe Hart-Ransom gave me a solid
education to excel at Central Catholic High School.
My college years included CSU Stanislaus in which a BS in Business
Administration with concentrations in Human Resources and Marketing was
obtained. I then went off to University of San Francisco where I obtained
my multiple subject credential and did my graduate studies.
When school is not in session. I love to travel. I have been to Hawaii 7
times, Portugal a couple times, Azores Islands of Portugal, Barcelona and
Madrid Spain. I have also traveled to Toronto a few times and to Niagra
Falls a couple times. Summer 07- I crossed the International
Dateline into Australia with 33 High School Students part of the People to
People Ambassador Program where I was able to travel the outback in Darwin
Territory as well as two different states one which included the beautiful
city of Sydney. During the summer of 08 I was fortunate to travel again
this time with Ms. Laude and 37 junior high students to Italy, Greece, and
France for
three weeks. It was AMAZING! The Roman Coliseum, Olympia (First Olympic
Stadium located in Greece and the Eifel Tower in Paris, France were just a
handful of the experiences I had. Next year I will travel to Australia, New
Zealand, and Fiji with high school students.
I love to travel and bring back those experiences to my classroom.
