About The Teacher
I am currently in my fifth year as a teacher here at Hart-Ransom. For the 2009-2010 school year I am teaching sixth grade. I am married and have one son who is a year old. I graduated from CSU Stanislaus in 2003 with a B.A. in liberal studies. My concentration in school was Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I love learning about history, cultures and languages. I have spent several years studying Spanish and recently began studying ASL (sign language). Some of my favorite things include music, photography, scrap booking, cooking, and art. I love my job and hope to inspire students to dream big and then work hard to attain those dreams. If I could pass only one thing on to my students I would hope they would walk away knowing that a little effort now reaps huge rewards later.
