Welcome to Room C-7! I am extremely excited to share this school year with
you. The following is a Q & A that will hopefully answer some questions for
you about your teacher.
Q: How long has Mrs. Evans been teaching?
A: I started teaching 4th grade 9 years ago in Los Angeles. The following
year, I moved up to Pleasanton and taught 2 years in 3rd grade at Alisal,
moved to Fairlands and taught 1 year in 2nd grade and then moved back to
Alisal for 3 more years of 3rd grade. Last year I started at Hearst in a 3/4
combo and now I've come full circle back to 4th grade.
Q: Where did Mrs. Evans go to college?
A: I received my BA and teaching credential at Cal Poly, SLO (Go Mustangs!). I
received my Masters of Instructional Administration at Argosy University.
Q: Who is in Mrs. Evans family?
A: Two years ago, I got married and changed from Ms. Baker to Mrs. Evans. My
wonderful husband is a contractor and we have known each other since college.
My mom will also be a fixture in the classroom. She is a cake decorator, but
used to be a teacher, so periodically she'll come into the classroom to help
teach baking lessons. My dad is a firefighter, but he doesn't travel much, so
he probably won't come up very often. Last, but not least, is my golden
retriever, Angie. She is a persnickety old girl who loves going on walks and
chasing her ball.
Q: What does Mrs. Evans do in her free time?
A: I love reading, baking, working on my house, taking pictures, traveling
near and far, and spending time with my family and friends.
Q:What are your some of Mrs. Evans' favorite things?
A: Obviously my family and friends are my most cherished things, but I have
many favorite things in life...
