Observation:
Go to TWO different pharmacies and observe what is going on in the pharmacy. Observe interactions
between patients and employees, do they answer phone in three rings or less, pharmacist interaction
between technician and clerks, pharmacists interactions between patients, etc. After you have
observed
two different pharmacies, write a 2-3 page essay. This essay will be a compare and contrast essay.
In
this essay I am looking for what was different and what was alike between these two pharmacies.
This
paper must be double spaced, 12 font, and in Times New Roman Font.
It is up to you to choose your pharmacies. Try to blend in outside the pharmacy!

Observation:
Call a pharmacy and ask a question about medication, maybe an interaction with another
medication,
or just a specific question about a specific drug. With this observation, I want you to observe the
interaction of you acting as the patient and the treatment that you received from the pharmacy.
Was the person polite when they answered the phone, did they get the pharmacist to answer your
question (they should), did they answer the phone in three rings or less, was the pharmacist polite
when you spoke with them. After you have observed the pharmacy, in your own words, write your
reaction to the situation. Do not forget to include your question and the interaction.
It is up to you to choose a pharmacy. Pick a good question!
