Why do the fees to play in each sport vary?

There are several factors that apply in determining the fee for each student-
athlete to participate:
1) What does each league (CYO or Daly City Parks and Rec) charge Holy Angels 
School to field each individual teams?)

2) How much per hour does CYO charge to use its gym facilties to allow our 
school teams to practice in?  (Right now as it stands...for the upcoming 
2008-2009 season, CYO is charging us $40.00 per hour to use its gym 
facilties)
