GENERAL INFORMATION:
The first homework packet went home on Friday, October 2nd and will be due
back on Friday October 9th. Students should turn in their entire homework
folder with their homework inside. A silver basket marked "Homework" is
located on top of the students cubbies. Please remind your child to place the
entire homework folder inside the homework basket on Friday for my review.
Please do not turn in homework any earlier than Friday.
Our basic homework packet will consist of: reading for 20 minutes everyday,
completing the creative writing assignment, practicing spelling words,
completing the math pages from their Interactive Math book and any other
attached assignments to the homework packet.
Please help your child study for the spelling tests on Friday and read every
night.
At parent conferences, I will introduce Sunshine Math. This part of the
homework is optional and will give you an extra opportunity to challenge them
in their math area.
