My full name is Kasie White, but your kids call me Ms. Kasie. I have known that I would be working with children since I was in elementary school myself, it has always been an interest and passion of mine. I moved to Brentwood with my family, back when it was a “small town” and attended Edna Hill Middle School and Liberty High School in Brentwood. After High School I attended California State University Hayward (currently Cal State East Bay) where I graduated with my BA in Liberal Studies and a minor in Early ChildHood Development. After college I worked for a large corporation for 2 years and decided very quickly that that wasn’t where I belonged, the classroom was it for me. I have 1 little boy who will be 3 this coming April 2012 and have been married for 4 years. I have been fortunate enough to have been working for OUESD for about 5 years now and it has been wonderful.
I have many reasons for loving my job, but the top three have to be 1. the energy that children carry with them and bring to a classroom, 2. their special spirits and 3. they are always very inquisitive and ready to learn. All that put together makes my day lots of fun and keeps me on my toes.
Our EDLC program is so special and we are glad that we can offer this service to your families. We appreciate and have fun with your kids and are grateful to have them as part of our OUESD EDLC families.
