Check out this cool website that you can use to learn where the states are located on the U.S. map. There are several games and they are organized by level of difficulty. The website is on my Links page (it's down
toward the bottom of the list) but I'll give it to you here also. www.sheppardsoftware.com
When you get to their home page, click on Geography and then click on United States. You will see many choices, so look around and find one that you want to try. I suggest you begin with Level 3. It's a drag & drop game that is both challenging and fun. Try some of the other games too, and let me know what you think.

Have you ever heard of sportstacking? It is an exciting new sport activity that is quickly gaining popularity, and sometimes it is called speedstacking. It was developed by a teacher in Colorado, and now there are teams all over the world. What is really great about sportstacking is that anyone can do it. It just takes practice. You don't have to be the smartest kid or the best athlete to be a champion stacker.
We have a school club called Ehrhardt Superstax. The club meets after school on Wednesdays. We have stacking games and activities, and we have tournaments too.
To learn more about the sport, go to www.speedstacks.com
I have also added it to my Links page.
