About The Teacher
I have been teaching at John Ehrhardt since it opened nineteen years ago. This is my 39th year of teaching (yes, you read that right!!), and I have taught fourth through eighth grades. I love teaching, and after all these years, I still get excited at the thought of beginning a new school year. In my spare time, I like to read, decorate my house, and spend time with my niece, Madeleine, and my nephews, Kellen and Carter. I love all sports especially soccer and football, and my favorite teams are Notre Dame Fighting Irish and SF 49ers! My hobby is calligraphy which I have studied for many years.

"I believe that every student wants to learn and do his or her best, and my goal is to help each student achieve that. Along the way, I hope that my students will feel the joy that learning brings and the satisfaction that comes with realizing they can be independent and in charge of their own learning. There is no shame in not knowing something. The shame comes when we refuse to do anything about it."
