Mission
Statement:

To offer students computer technology training and experiences.
·
To provide students with access to computers for research so that students
learn to find, evaluate, and use online information effectively.
·
To use the web as tool to communicate both to students and parents.
Goals:
·
Expand current research capabilities for students through guided internet use.
·
Provide secondary students with honors and advanced placement courses
through distance learning currently unavailable on s
·
Provide staff with workshops and on-site training to integrate technology with
curricula, as on-site mentors for distance learning classes, and for
communicating assignments and information to students and parents.
Hardware and Support Materials:
·
Upgrade existing hardware for internet/distance use.
·
Increase internet-capable computers to allow secondary students access
for distance learning courses and online research.
·
Increase internet-capable computers to allow whole-class teaching, both
for on-site classes and mentoring distance learning classes.
·
Purchase a data projector and screen for use in teaching technology
skills, research techniques, and for mentoring distance learning classes.
