"Ethos Pathos Logos--Ari Pizza." Then create a poster. Hypothetically, ask your parents for something, just like Ari-- concert tickets? a sleepover? a new hamster? Create a poster.
Then, use the three different methods of persuasion,
ethos, pathos, and logo to persuade your parents to get it for you.
Demonstrate the three different ways you would ask your parents for that item. (Bonus--add an on or under the surface graphic for each of the three methods).

Then go back to the "Dashboard" and click on th the assignment called "Approaching Adulthood." Write one paragraph about one of the pieces of advice you read about.

**Wednesday,Thursday, Friday 3/8-3/10 --In class, use my.hrw.com-- On the "Dashboard," go to the "Student eBook." Choose "Collection 4" and click the story, "Marigolds." (It can be found on p. 213). Wed. 8/31  In class=Review AR goal and transfer information to permanent AR Sheet.  Review Sentence patterns--check punctuation, especially.  Directions for Positive Poster (adding the sentences about the collage).  HW=Poster due on Friday
