Mrs. McHorney has taught English at Luther since 1989. She loves to make
"literature come alive" for her students. She truly loves her job and really
appreciates middle school students for who they are. She believes every child
can pass her class if he/she tries and is responsible for homework and
classwork.
Mrs. McHorney's mission is to address California Content Standards in a way
that is accessible to middle schoolers. She hopes to create an environment
where students can confidently exchange ideas and find learning to be an
interesting experience.
