Mrs. Christ's Fifth Grade Class
La Costa Heights Elementary School
My teaching and learning experience has brought me full circle back to
the Encinitas Union School District. As a young a child, I attended Paul
Ecke Central School from kindergarten through sixth grade. From there I
attended Digueno Jr. High and San Digueto High School.
I went on to receive a Bachelor's degree from the University of
California at Santa Barbara, UCSB. Finding passion in learning and
teaching, I continued my education at the California State University at San
Marcos, CSUSM for my teaching credential. June of 2008 I completed my
graduate education at National University where I earned a Master of Arts in
Teaching; what a huge accomplishment!
I have been teaching at La Costa Heights Elementary School in the
Encinitas Union School District since 1999 and I feel proud to be part of
such an accomplished school district. I have been fortunate enough to teach
grades three through sixth which has provided me with a wealth of experience
and knowledge teaching mutliple ages.
I live with my family in Old Creek Ranch in San Marcos, California. My
husband and I have fraternal twins, Colton and Kailee. They are six and a
half years old; they will begin first grade at La Costa Heights in the fall
of 2008.
