About The Teacher

Hello, my name is Rebecca Brannon and this is my 5th year of teaching at
LaVorgna Elementary School. I came to the Temecula Valley Unified School
District from Vista Unified in 1996. Prior to coming to LaVorgna I taught
First, Second and a First/Second grade combo at Vail Elementary and Vintage
Hills Elementary.

I have a very busy life outside of school. My family is number one in my
life. My husband Steve is busy restoring our 50 year old adobe home that
sits on hill in the middle of ten acres in Fallbrook! We enjoy watching
magnificent sunsets and hawks flying overhead. My son Christopher and his
wife Jacqueline are teachers at McKinley School in the Pasadena Unified
School District. They are the parents of my amazing grandson, Joshua!
Christopher teaches fifth grade and Jackie teaches kindergarten. My daughter
Jessica teaches first grade at Franklin McKinley School District in San Jose,
CA. Her husband Sean works in the technology field in Pleasanton, CA. I am
blessed with a wonderful family!

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy quilting, baking, photography and traveling
and visiting with my grandson Joshua. The national parks are some of my
favorite places to visit and photograph.

MY CLASSROOM GOALS ARE:
To teach and to be taught
To motivate and inspire my students
To communicate and involve parents
